Scheduled inbound flight capacity to Americas set to increase in 2017


 
Capacity on scheduled inbound flights to destinations across the Americas from all regions is likely to show an increase of 2.4 percent in 2017 over 2016. Flights from Africa are predicted to increase by 11.5 percent while flights from the Pacific are predicted to see a decline of 2.1 percent compared to last year. Scheduled flights from Asia (5.9%) and Europe (3.3%) are also expected to contribute greater frequencies to the Americas this year.

Young tourism professionals meet in Dhaka

Three teams from PATA Bangladesh presented their ideas at the Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair 2017. These teams were the champion and runners-up from the signature tourism business plan competition ‘Tbiz planners’. They shared their ideas on food and river tourism and also presented competitive statistics on the tourism system of Bangladesh. Read more.
