Peep peep peep! We borrowed two little chickies from school for an overnight slumber party. SO much fun.
Here's what I've been working on when I'm not running a farm out of our apartment.
Enjoy!

😮 PAX AND BLUE in The New York Times Book Review!
Holy moly. The New York Times Book Review recently called my book Pax and Blue a "sprightly debut," and compared the art to one of my heroes: "the spare pages have a friendly, retro look that calls to mind Syd Hoff’s welcoming urban spaces..."
The book is dedicated to my boys, so it was quite special to see the review on Mother's Day.

👟 From remedial gym class to Runner’s World
I've been documenting my training for the Brooklyn Half Marathon on Instagram with an art series called #viewfrommyrun. Now the series is profiled in Runner's World magazine. (Middle school me, who failed the Presidential Physical Fitness Test, is smiling.)

📚 Picture books in the wild
Carter Higgins interviewed me for Design of the Picture Book. (Carter's debut middle grade novel, A Rambler Steals Home, is a baseball story perfect for summer.)
I visited Goosehill Primary School in Cold Spring Harbor, NY and met 200+ kindergarteners and 1st graders. We had so much fun reading and drawing! I can visit your school, too.

⭐ Cool clients, cool projects
My website design client Tiffany Dufu launched her don't-do-it-all memoir and manifesto, Drop the Ball, and The New York Times loves it.
ThirstyNest is a new kind of wedding registry... for your home bar. Sign up for launch and you may get some emails I designed.
The folks at Meridian have traveled to far-flung places to visit artisans and source fabrics for home goods. Each product has a metal tag with the logo I made! Sign up for launch.

💃🏻 Seeking new work
I’m actively seeking design projects! I’d love to work on marketing, logos/branding, and websites. Email me if you have a project you think might be a fit. (And please pass my info along to friends and colleagues who may need a designer!)
