This email is to let you know one of our members, Betty Whinna, of Hillsborough, NC, passed away May 3, 2017.

From the family:

"Wanted to let y'all know that my Mom passed away this morning in her sleep. Her will to go on had been slowly declining over several months and a little steeper since she saw you last. I was out of town all last week and saw even more obvious change when I got back on Saturday. The family gathered on Sunday and after speaking with her, I spoke to her PCP and got a Hospice referral on Monday. I had been up with her about every 2 hours last night, the last time about 6 am to give her water and when I checked again about 7:30 am she had gone home to the Lord.

There will be a Memorial Service at the same church where Dad’s was this Sunday afternoon, Sunday May 7, 2017 at 4 pm
