You can be confidant I am current on the challenges of having a "Pre-Condition."
I am personally effected by any changes to health care coverage, as are family members and a number of people I've been serving in the HIV/AIDS community since 1988. For a number of years Let Kids Be Kids, Inc. has offered services to the terminally ill, cancer patients and others needing a bit of support with the day to day hurdles of living with illness, old age or physical limitations.
Here is one strategy that may help educate/influence/enlist/pressure the four key Republican U.S. Senators who may cast deciding votes on what the House is sending to the Senate.
Health Care strategy.
1) Contact YOUR U.S.Senator sharing your opinion and what you can do to ASSIST them on marshaling other Senators to defeat the House Bill, 2) Call the four Senators listed below, 3) Email them via their websites, 4) Tweet them, 5) Send postcards as letters will take about 6 weeks due to screening.
4 postcards, 15 various Tweets were done today while watching the celebrations in France.

Faiz Shakir, American Civil Liberties Union national political director, had this reaction:
“The American Health Care Act aims to take health care coverage away from millions of Americans, costing many of them their lives. It’s a giant step backwards to repeal a health care law that has helped end discriminatory policies against women, people with disabilities, people of color, and LGBT people. This cruel bill cuts off access to reproductive health care for millions who depend on Planned Parenthood. It also does grave harm to people with disabilities who rely on Medicaid for critical services that allow them to live in the community instead of an institution.
“Now that this misguided legislation moves to the Senate, we urge senators of both parties to declare this bill dead on arrival. The voice of the people will not be silenced until they do.”
