The original and ineffective paint on the walls of this concrete sand filter tank was failing drastically against the relentless chemical attack of the Sodium HypoChlorite
The expert team at SIM were enlisted to breathe new life into the concrete walls. The surface was prepared by grit blasting and washing, then the application on ChemClad XC was started. The images above show the dramatic improvement.
1 year after the original application, the ChemClad XC is showing no signs of damage and only minimal discolouration. With the client impressed with how well the product handled the conditions on the tank walls, SIM was re-enlisted to coat the floors as well.
