Arcadia One Lunch Volunteers Needed for 2017/18 School Year

Do you have an eighth grader headed to Arcadia?  Arcadia High School has a great tradition - it is called One Lunch.  Everyone eats lunch at the same time at Arcadia - all students and all teachers.  This allows for students to get extra help, clubs to meet, meetings to be held, events to happen, tickets to be sold . . . and no one misses out.  It is one of the many great things about Arcadia.  It only works because parents volunteer to help at One Lunch

Parent volunteers sign up to help every other week to assist the lunch staff - either in the cafeteria, in the kiosk by the auditorium, or at the outside food cart.  The time commitment is from 11:40 - 12:30 on your assigned day.  You can sign up to work every other week or you can sign up with a friend to job share - which means you work just once a month.  It is fun and a great way to catch a glimpse of what's happening at Arcadia!  Even if you can't commit to a regular schedule, we are always in need of substitutes.

If you are interested in either a regular position or being on the sub list, please contact Heidi McNeil Staudenmaier at
hstaudenmaier@swlaw.com or Karen Treon at ktreon@gmail.com
We are so excited to introduce our Ingleside Robotics Club for the 2017/2018 school year!

Mrs. Hain will be launching a Robotics Club  and is looking for a few parents that will commit to volunteering weekly or if we get enough volunteers, on a rotation basis. The days or day has not been determined and are open to availability, but one or two days after school, 2:30 - 4pm is ideal. Friday has been suggested. It will depend on the number of students and volunteers and their availability. No experience necessary, just the desire to work with the students and have fun.

Mrs. Hain is also in need of someone handy to build  regulation tables needed for this program.  The plans already exist and Mohave will be sending over one of theirs to use until we get ours made and use as a model. They are wood and quite large.

If you can help launch this very exciting club, please contact Mrs. Hain today!

Garden Volunteers Needed for Next Year

Put your green thumb to work in our very own Ingleside garden. We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about gardening and nutrition, composting and more! Please contact Robin Lyon at robin.lyon@russlyon.com with any questions and for more information.

IMS Fest Manager Needed for Next Year

Do you like to coordinate events?  If so, help us plan our IMS Fest fundraiser. You'll have the opportunity to plan this popular fundraiser and head-up a committee to create a great evening for Ingleside parents and teachers.  And, you don't have to lead alone! Grab a friend and share this position as a team! Contact Robin Lyon robin.lyon@russlyon.com with any questions and for more information.
Did you know that we are the only SUSD middle school to have an Academic Bowl program?

We are looking for someone to continue the tradition of the Ingleside Academic Bowl for the 2017-2018 school year.  This is a great academic activity that we don't want to let slip by.  If you're interested in working with this program, please contact Lori Logan at lorijlogan1@gmail.com
Thursday, May 25th is our last day of classes.

Students will be released at 12:20.

Our 8th grade students may go home with parents after the Promotion Ceremony.
Remember to pick up any medications from the health office, that you have brought in during the year.  Medication cannot be stored over the summer.  Any medication not picked up by Wednesday, May 24, will be disposed of.
KEEP COLLECTING THOSE BOX TOPS!

CUT THEM OUT ALL SUMMER LONG AND BRING THEM BACK TO OUR OPEN HOUSE ON AUGUST 4TH!

THIS IS SUCH A GREAT WAY TO RAISE MONEY FOR INGLESIDE!
