Another short message with a few money-saving tips. The transport sector is changing rapidly, with new players offering new services - that are often cheaper. Here are a few ideas you might want to try this year:

• CarShuttle: skip the sales desk and go straight to your car that you open with an app. Price: EUR49 Nice airport to Cannes.
• The Airport Express. from EUR22. Don't miss the last one!
• BlaBlacar: probably the best car-sharing service. Lots of offers from French towns to Cannes (eg. Marseilles-Cannes EUR13). Recommended
• train from Nice-St Augustin: for about EUR6, you can reach Cannes from the airport in 30-40 minutes. NOTE: you have to walk 10 minutes to the airport. Details in the link.
• Driiveme: they offer car rentals at EUR1. You'll be bringing a rental car back to its point of departure. I see no cars from Nice airport, but some from Marseilles and other towns. Worth checking.
