Rain barrel sale open to Barrie residents

Using rain barrels conserves water, protects the environment, and lowers water bills! The city's annual rain barrel sale is open to Barrie residents.

In celebration of National Public Works Week, the City of Barrie is hosting a community event at the city's Operations Centre, 165 Ferndale Drive North, on Saturday May 27th, 10am–3pm. In addition to tours, displays, and more, the event includes a truckload sale where Barrie residents can purchase FreeGarden™ RAIN rain barrels for $50 (taxes included).

Residents can pay at the event, but are encouraged to pre-order at enviroworld.ca/barrie to ensure availability. The pre-order deadline is May 22nd, and barrels must be picked up at the Operations Centre on Saturday May 27th between 10am and 3pm.

City of Barrie residents only. Cash, cheque, debit, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Required at pickup: photo identification, proof of residency in Barrie (ie. driver’s licence, water bill), proof of purchase (confirmation email from paypal; this can be shown on mobile device or paper).
