Dear B4L Community:
The Lexington Road Project is in its final planning phase, and we need your help to ensure that it's the kind of project that will be safe, convenient, and inviting to all road users. 

First, a little context: the project's scope is from Grinstead Road to Payne Street (see below). And the goals of the project (according to the project plan) are "to develop a multi-modal, complete street, which is efficient, neighborhood friendly, and safe."

The city is currently considering three options for this stretch of road:

• Striping Option 1: 5-foot bike lanes, 3-foot buffers, and 12-foot driving lanes
• Striping Option 2: 4-foot bike lanes, 2-foot buffers, and 12-foot driving lanes
• Striping Option 3: 5-foot bike lanes, no buffer, and 12-foot driving lanes

We at B4L support Striping Option 1 and invite you to write in to the city to express your support as well. Stated simply, we believe that this option is the best at meeting the goals of the project.
