Here's what to see in Siem Reap's Green Season [Link updated]

Siem Reap’s full-on green season is almost with us, with the relentless heat giving way to welcome rain, and the whole of temple town taking on a luscious shade of verdant. The rain can bring challenges, as temple town’s notoriously dusty streets give way to puddles – but it’s a wonderful time to observe our little city in the midst of change, and often an altogether more comfortable period to take in the sights. Aside from the infamous temples at and around Angkor Wat, there’s plenty to see and do at this time of year – take a look at our latest blog post for a round-up of the green season attractions you’ll want to squeeze into your visit to Siem Reap.

Full Moon Apothecary lands on May 11

Fresh from our star-studded March popup, the Baby Elephant Gin Appreciation Society returns at 7pm on Thursday 11 May for a pagan-inspired evening of gin-loving under the full moon. Join us, wood nymphs and other pagan creatures for three original healing tinctures, a variety of innovative G&T recipes (plus our regular drinks list), and delicious snacks including a BBQ with vegan options. Baby Elephant's intern, Melody, is a Chilean culinary arts student. She has been working alongside Head Chef Hoyha learning about Cambodian cuisine for the past 4 months - but now it's her turn to show Chef Hoyha what Chilean food is all about! Melody and Chef Hoyha will be showing Siem Reap some of the delicious food from Melody's far-away nation.
