Bio-Blitz at Switzkill Farm
Saturday, June 10 9am - 4pm
Switzkill Farm is seeking volunteers to take part in it's first bio-blitz - a species counting event that will help them identify all the amazing types of flora and fauna that call this beautiful property home. No experience is necessary - everyone from beginners to advanced are welcome. Group leaders will guide discoveries and identification. This is a great opportunity to help Switzkill Farm and increase your knowledge of local species. enjoy a BBQ, and socialize with the leaders and other volunteers. Sponsored in partnership with the Berne Conservation Board.

Community Barn Dance
Saturday May 13 7:30-10pm
Caller Paul Rosenburg, live music by Tamarack.
Simple fun dances for every age and ability; both partner and non-partner dances. All dances will be taught.
Suggested donation: adults $5, children $2. Free refreshments. Please bring a non-persihable food item, or make a monetary donation to the food pantry in honor of Jean Forti.

Rensselaerville Ramble Trail Run & Walk
Saturday June 17 9am
Head out for a 2, 5, or 8 mile trail run/walk on the beautiful E.N. Huyck Preserve trails in the historic village of Rensselaerville, NY. All proceeds will go to the E.N. Huyck Preserve and Rensselaerville Library.

Different speakers each month with outdoor observing to follow, weather permitting. Amateur astronomers and families are invited to bring binoculars or telescopes. One or more telescopes will be provided by The Dudley Observatory. Family friendly. Program will be held rain or shine, free refreshments, free admission (donations graciously accepted).
