1. Piano Concert to Benefit FOCUS. June 4

Join us for an afternoon of beautiful music at Delmar Reformed Church on Sunday afternoon, June 4th starting at 4 pm.

Dr. Gena Bedrosian, concert pianist, will be performing.

Free will offering to benefit the FOCUS Churches of Albany.

2. FOCUS Board Comptroller Needed

3 Gardening in a Bucket for Kids.2017

We’re ready to hit the road to bring Gardening in a Bucket (GIAB) to Albany family shelters and schools. Children learn about growing and caring for vegetable plants while they decorate pots and assemble a portable garden to take home with them.

We need volunteers to assist staff. If you can commit an hour or two call Belinda at 443-0460 or e-mail belindaq@focuschurches.net for dates, times & locations.

4. Plant an Extra Row for the Food Pantry

Are your growing a garden?

How about planting an extra row and donating the harvest to the FOCUS Interfaith Food Pantry for our families?!

FOCUS volunteers please save the date for a summer volunteer picnic at the Henry Hudson Town Park, in Selkirk

Thursday, July 20

Henry Hudson Park Pavilion

Starting around 4:00 pm and lasting until 7 ish.

Plenty of parking. Tremendous view of the river. Playground for children. Field for sports.

FOCUS will provide items to be grilled and the buns; drinks.

Please bring a salad or side dish to share.

Ice cream for dessert!

Please join us for a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of FOCUS Churches! Great food, live music, recognition of volunteers, former staff, founding pastors and more! October 28, 2017 at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Road in Albany. $50 per person. Watch for more details coming soon!
