On Saturday, May 20th, The Animal Guardian Society will be taking part in the 2nd Annual Walk, Run & Roll!
This is the only annual walk in which TAGS participates. Come support your favourite Animal Rescue by participating in this 5k event!
The day kicks off at 10:00am at Heydenshore Pavilion in Whitby!
You can pre-register by clicking here or by going to Pet Valu Whitby Shores, 619 Victoria Street West in Whitby. If you pre-register, then you can pick up your kit at the same Pet Valu from May 16th to 19th. You can also register at the walk from 10am to 11am but we can not guarantee a shirt if you sign up on the day of the event!
The walk begins at 11:00am sharp! It is a 5K walk, run & roll, making it accessible for anyone & everyone! Bring your dogs with you to walk the beautiful lake shore together!
There will be many fun events going on throughout the day, such as face painting, button making & a kids activity table! The Durham K-9 unit will be represented and we'll be having a dog show & dog contest as well! You'll also get to see Molly the Fire Dog, Leafs mascot Carlton the Bear as well as the mascots from Durham College & UOIT!
A BBQ will be available with delicious hamburgers, long hot dogs and veggie burgers on the menu! There will be many items to bid on at the Silent Auction & a whole slew of other surprises!
