Hey <<First Name>>,

Hope you're having a great week. I've created a new resource to serve you, keep reading to check it out.

A new way to stay in touch

Many of you have been asking for more tools and resources for growing as a group leader. If you're like me, you want good information, but you don't have long to consume it. With that in mind, I decided to try podcasting as a way to stay in touch and pass on some practical tips about group leading.

I'll keep things short - this first episode is just under 12 minutes. If this serves you well I'll be glad to continue recording these and sending them out, so please let me know if it's helpful!

Let's get to the first episode...

What do you do when your group feels stagnant?

I've heard from several group leaders over the years that after a great start their group has started to feel stagnant. The group has lost vision, lost the excitement. That may be where your group is right now.

So what do you do when your group feels stagnant?

There are 2 ways you can revitalize your group. Listen to the episode below to find out what they are. (Show notes are included below so you can reference the content later on.)

Main idea: When your group feels stagnant, there are 2 ways you can revitalize it:
  1. Serve as a group
    • Groups and people are designed to exercise what they learn, otherwise they become stagnant
    • Sign up for serve days on Meck's website
    • Find a service opporunity in your community (schools, nonprofits or ministries)
  2. Make application the focus of your group discussion
    • Don't let study questions be the end of your group discussion
    • Hold group members accountable for applying what they learn in your studies
    • Go first by answering how you applied what you learned
Hope this resource serves you well.

Don't forget to let me know if you'd like to continue receiving podcasts more regularly!

Take care,
