Adult Literacy and Numeracy Awareness Raising 21 June 2017

In response to high demand, we have introduced an Adult Literacy and Numeracy Awareness Raising session to our Professional Development programme.

The 2 hour workshop will give staff and volunteers an understanding of how adults’ everyday lives can be impacted by lower level literacy and numeracy skills. Additionally, it will help staff consider the implications for their own workplaces and discuss good practice.  It also covers how to make referrals to Glasgow’s Learning for literacies classes or support.
