Hello The Ones!
We hope this note finds you well. It's gloriously warm in London, which is a rarity, so we'll boast as we please.
This week we're intrigued by working cultures, making news friends and what our appearance says about us. We'd also love to hear what's caught your attention in the last week, things your testing, questioning, avoiding(!).
Enjoy...

Watch: 'What do you dislike most about your appearance?'. Yes! We tackled it, head (face) on. Watch or listen on the go here
EXPLORE: What would 'Pride and Prejudice' smell like, if it were made into a fragrance, or 'To Kill A Mockingbird'? We have no idea which is why the work of Timothy Han caught our attention. We like being made to think differently. Here's a short interview on alexeagle.com.
Read: Google's Project Aristotle was a fascinating experiment into what makes the ideal team. This NY Times article is a lucid deep dive into data and human psychology. One line we've marked: 'No one wants to leave part of their personality and inner life at home. But to be fully present at work, to feel ‘‘psychologically safe,’’ we must know that we can be free enough, sometimes, to share the things that scare us without fear of recriminations.'
DO: Maths and science are perennial topics we consistently toy with picking up again. Random luck brought us to BRILLIANT - a platform that encourages the learning of these topics through quizzes. We think it's potentially rather marvellous.
A Tip: Friends are forged in the quarries of shared experience, ripples of laughter and doses of healthy embarrassment. But 'growing up' needn't put an end to bringing new people into our lives. It's cool to be friendly, to mix with all and sundry and to be surprised and excited by new interactions. Some ideas here to get into the flow of the new and unexpected.

That's all for now. Remember, stay curious and take active steps in curating your life consciously.
And please reply to this note and tell us what you're interested in at the moment.
Thanks!
