Anglers can again help Lake Erie fishery managers by scanning any yellow perch they catch in 2017 for microchips as part of a research study on fish behavior, migration, population size and death rate.

Ohio Sea Grant and partners announce the release of the Lake Erie Islands Water Trails guide. The brochure features five circular paddling routes and associated public access points around South Bass, Middle Bass, North Bass, Kelleys Island and the Catawba and Marblehead peninsula area.
