The L'Enfant Trust Logo Preserving Washington's Historic Communities
The L'Enfant Trust had a wonderful time celebrating preservation efforts in Washington at the District of Columbia Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation on Tuesday night, co-hosted by the DC Historic Preservation Office, the DC Preservation League and the Daughters of the American Revolution in the historic DAR Constitution Hall. These awards celebrate excellence in design and construction, community involvement, and stewardship in DC's historic communities.

Congratulations to all award recipients.  What a great ending to Preservation Month!

Historic Anacostia Tour with UMD Students

The Trust kicked off Preservation Month in Historic Anacostia!  We toured the neighborhood with students from the Master of Historic Preservation Program at the University of Maryland on a damp, muggy Friday afternoon. We shared with the students our role as a non-profit historic real estate developer in community revitalization and discussed the preservation techniques used in each of our completed Anacostia projects.

Thanks for Supporting Historic Preservation

It is through your generous donations that we are able to protect the District's architectural treasures and rehabilitate vacant & blighted historic properties.  Please consider a tax deductible gift to The L'Enfant Trust to ensure that we are able to continue preserving our shared cultural heritage and revitalizing communities through the historically sensitive adaptation of the built environment.

Thank you for your support -- and, Happy Preservation Month!
