Diaper Drive.   In March we held a diaper drive to benefit the DC Diaper Bank.    At our May dinner meeting we presented the donated items and a check to David Slagle Peck, board member of the DC Diaper Bank.   The DC Diaper Bank works with area organizations to provide critical needed baby supplies so that families don't have to choose between getting diapers and other needs.
We are Growing.   In the last Lions Year, the Burtonsville Lions had an 8% increase in membership.   We want to continue to grow the Pride.   If you would like to know more about becoming a Lion, contact Lion Elizabeth at elizabeth.pugliese@gmail.com

How to Support the Lions:  In order to serve our community, we need your support, here are some easy ways you can support us:

Goodsearch.com   Goodsearch is a search engine that donates a penny per search to your chosen cause.  You can also shop through their site and a portion of your purchase goes to the cause.   Go to Goodsearch to sign up and choose "Lions Club of Burtonsville" as your charity.

AmazonSmiles:  Just like using Amazon, except a portion of your purchase goes to your favorite cause.   Choose "Burtonsville Lions Foundation, Inc." as your cause.

EBay Giving Works:   Selling on EBay?  Donate a portion of your sale price to the Lions.   It's easy.   Just list your item as normal, except select that a portion (10 - 100%) be donated to your charity.   EBay does the rest.   Choose Burtonsville Lions, Foundation, Inc." as your cause.

Thank you for your support.
