This week another student has come to O'Brien Guitars and built his guitar with me.  The first picture is on the first day of class with the materials on the bench. The second picture shows the guitar we built in 6 days. The smile says it all.  
   
 One of the things I get a lot of email about is how we possibly are able to French polish an entire guitar in a day and get results like you see in the pictures. I show this method in great detail in my online French polish course. It really is a lot easier than one might think and the results speak for themselves. 
   
 
This week I also launched my  latest Luthier Tips du Jour Mailbag video. In this video I show a method to drill tuner holes in headstocks that will help you  accomplish the task with no tearout. 

The classes keep happening at O'Brien Guitars. The first week of June I am offering a two day steel string voicing class, a two day classical voicing class and a two day French polish class. These classes are very popular and happen only once a year. I also will build four guitars with students before the end of June. It is going to be a busy month. Standby for more details.
