  • What's the purpose of Galaksio.
3) Practical example of STATegra EMS and Galaksio
  • How to send and retrieve data between the systems;
  • How to run a workflow in Galaksio to generate results, provenance and minimum information about a sequencing project (minSEQ).

Primarly dedicated to IT focal points from B3Africa pilot institutions, the B3Africa webinar on the BiBBoX, held on 27 April 2017, attracted 16 biobank professionals from 10 countries!

  • How to instal the BiBBoX on your system
  • What is the philosophy of the eB3Kit applications (APPs), how to install an APP, how an APP is built in the background and what happens inside the machine

Announcement - Launch of new guidelines for biobanks dedicated to cancer research
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is pleased to announce the publication of new guidelines and recommendations for biobanks. The publication, Common Minimum Technical Standards and Protocols for Biobanks Dedicated to Cancer Research, provides essential guidance for biobanks not only in high-income countries but also in low- and middle-income countries. The recommendations are based on validated and/or evidence-based guidelines.
