Dear Friends,

Carole and I and our families are so excited! We praise God for His call on our lives!  This time of year is always challenging and heart warming as we prepare for our regular tent meetings.  But this summer is a dream come true, as we feel God has called us to take our tent meetings across this nation of Canada from coast to coast and preach His Gospel Message!  I thank Him for all of our partners and those he has raised up to help us along the way and who also have a heart and a vision to see lives touched and changed forever to the Glory of God!  A special thanks to Dallas Papequash and Chad Martin who are travelling with us ministering, praying, & helping to put up the Gospel Tent.
In May Carole and I began our west to east "Canadian First Nation Tent Revival Crusade".  First stop is at Wet'suwet'en Reservation (Laksilyu Tribe) in Moricetown, British Columbia. With us in the photo above is Dallas Papequash.
I thank God from the bottom of my heart for Floyd Keshane and his wife Tanya Favel who have answered the call and been appointed as Pastors at Almond Tree Ministries.  They will carry on the work of the church while we are away.

ATMBI Graduation 2017

We were so blessed to have Catherine Charles (nee Fraser) and her husband Isaiah (in photo) from New Covenant Ministries Church in Dartmouth, NS with us to teach, preach, minister, and assist with graduation preparations.

The Graduation Banquet & Ceremony in April was an amazing celebration!  We praise God for all he has done and is doing in the lives of our graduates!  Congratulations to Toni Bryant who received her second year diploma and Tasha O’Soup, Denise Brass, Daniel O’Soup, Dallas Papequash, & Jeremy Brass; all receiving first year certificates.  We look so forward to seeing our first year students return in the fall!
ATCA – Nine students attended the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) Convention this spring in Portage, Manitoba.  They were entered in various events: photography, checkers, chess, table tennis, 100 meter run, soccer, dodge ball, basketball free throw, shot put and discus.  They all placed either first, second or third.  This was the first time for attending such an event and it was an awesome experience for everyone!

Mosaic Extreme School Makeover Challenge

Congratulations ATCA for entering the “Mosaic Extreme School Makeover Challenge” which was open to all schools in Saskatchewan and only 10 schools were awarded $10,000 each for the best entries.  We are so proud of Almond Tree Christian Academy as they were one of the $10,000 recipients.  Their project was named “The Key is in the Garden”.  The purpose of the project is to help improve the nutrition program of the school.  It was a lot of hard work and many meetings with prayer for God to give good ideas.  He is so faithful and He will always provide what is needed.  The students are seeing and witnessing this.  We are going to purchase some new items for our school kitchen as well as build a chicken coop and fence-off our school garden.  All the families will be given a plot to plant their garden.  We plan to give away fresh produce with our regular monthly food hampers.  Praise the Lord!

A local farmer came and talked with the students about farming.  He brought barley, oats, canola, and wheat seeds to plant, so the students could experience seed growing and multiplying.  They were invited to his farm and they will go 4 times to observe the different stages of farming.  He also blessed us by donating funds for student excursions.

A dietitian from the Yorkton Tribal Council recently visited ATCA; teaching our students the benefits of gardening for good nutrition.
We are praying for a new van for the school similar to the one in the above photo. The kids are praying too.  Can you help?
A special thanks to the Key Band who loaned us the community van for our trip to the Convention in Portage, MB.  We are so grateful to them!
ATCA has a year end trip booked for June 19th & 20th to go to Wolf Creek Circle Square Ranch.  The students will camp one night in wagons.  They can participate in many activities such as horse back riding, archery, canoeing, rock climbing and more!  We thank God for the spirtual growth we see in our students.  He is a God of promise and miracles and his love is never ending!
