50th Jubilee Celebration
This week Israel celebrates 50 years since the reunification of Jews and Jerusalem. After the 1967 six day war, Jerusalem was liberated into the hands of the Jews. The Jewish people understand that the land belongs to God and we are only foreigners and temporary residents with Him. Leviticus 25:23
God created the world in six days and He liberated His Holy City in six days. It was a miracle, by God's grace.
It is all part of the plan that will lead us to the New Jerusalem. Revelation 21:2

I traveled to Kenya this month to visit a new church who joined Faith in Action Tabernacle Ministries. I participated in the service to welcome them into the ministry and teach about Israel while I was there. During this trip I traveled to a new area where I had not been before and enjoyed the opportunity to visit with the pastors and to preach a revival message at one other church while I was there.
I carried a financial gift from the Ramallah Baptist Church in the West Bank to the new congregation in Luanda Kenya. What a blessing! The new congregation is planning to use the money to complete the church building you see in the photo.
Several of my friends here in Jerusalem sent gifts to the people of Faith in Action that included food for the orphans, a blanket for the pre-school children to take their naps on, frisbees for them to play with ... and more.
A friend of mine from Uganda joined us for one day in Nakuru to teach about solar irrigation and malaria prevention. They were so happy with the information he shared they are planning to bring him again for a conference.
We have plans to expand the ministry without straying from the vision and mission to care for the widows and orphans. While we do this, with my participation, we are reaching Africa to understand Israel and the Jewish people.
There is more to tell but for now let me say it was one of our best times together as we move the ministry forward under the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit of God.
