Happy Long Weekend Everyone!
Super exciting wines this weekend! Today we are featuring the amazing, organic wines from Okanagan Crush Pad and Haywire! Including their brand new Switchback Pinot Gris, Gamay Noir Rose, and their fantastic sparkling The Bub which won a Lieutenant Governor's award last year for their 2014 vintage. Only 10 wines are awarded this prestigious award each year. I am very excited to taste the new 2015. It has a beautiful peachy hue. Yum! The new Haywire Pinot Noir is sensational and for an easy sipping red blend we will be pouring the Narrative Red Blend, a mix of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Super delicious.

Saturday we are so fortunate to have Moraine Winery pouring their new  best selling Riesling! A huge hit last year and it sold out very quickly. We expect the same with this amazing 2016 vintage so come and stock up while you can! Moraine will also be pouring their new Pink Mountain Rose, perfect for the nice weather coming our way!

We are also launching our new charcuterie plates and wine flights this weekend! So not only can you taste the amazing wines we have lined up but you will be able to purchase a flight of 3 wines as well as a personal sized charcuterie and charcuterie for 2 prepared by Chef Drew Still.

Flights for $9.00
Personal Charcuterie for $8.00
Charcuterie for 2 for $16.00

Come check it out!
Whatever you may be doing for this long weekend I do hope you enjoy some amazing BC wine on a patio somewhere. Have a great weekend!

Cheers,

Haywire 2015 The Bub $31.20+taxes
NEW VINTAGE RELEASE~ ORGANIC

The Bub is a tribute to our daughter Alison, known as The Bub, Bubster or Alibubba in her earlier years. This vintage is a shining example of what the Okanagan does best – crisp, fresh and delicious and has citrus and toasty notes and a textured, light effervescence. It is a bold, dry austere bubbly.
The Bub is made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes which were harvested mid-August 2015. Primary fermentation took place in a combination of concrete and stainless steel tanks before bottling in November 2015 for secondary fermentation. Disgorged late December 2016 with no sugar added in the dosage.
