The CTPost's Elsberry reports that Fairfield AD Doris is stepping down after over 20 years leading the Stags. Per Elsberry: "Doris ... will remain with the university, reporting directly to new president Mark Nemec - who starts his new job on July 1 - while a national search to find his replacement gets underway. Once a new athletic director is hired, Doris will work as a special advisor for the new AD until the end of the year." More in D1.ticker tomorrow morning. (link)
