Hello, dear loved ones and friends ~


It is with great joy, excitement, and tenderness that I write this letter.

After 10 years of coaching and teaching. we will be closing the doors to THE ACT NOW STUDIO. 
I am saying farewell to Portland and with that, our beloved STUDIO will be part of that good bye.   

Our final ACT NOW INDUSTRY SHOWCASE will be on August 31st. We are going to go out in style!
 We will have a couple of  drop in, on camera  and Meisner classes after that as well as  a Lindsay Frame Workshop on September 8th and 9th.

There will be an open house the week of September 11th-14th where  we will be giving away/selling stuff.  (mostly giving away!)
I will be there throughout that last week and invite those of you who have shared time and energy at THE STUDIO to come by and see me!

I write this with deep emotion.
I have loved each and every moment that has been spent at our studio. This is a place where we have all grown and changed. 
Some of you have come and stayed. Some of you have come and moved on. Whatever your experience has been, I would love to see you and hug you.

THE ACT NOW STUDIO has been a home to a lot of us. It has been a place where some of you found your boyfriends/girlfriends now husbands/wives. It has been a place where you have discovered your first authentic moments as an actor. It has been a place where you have been so angry with me and with the work that you swore you would never return and yet, the very next week or month, you were right back in the trenches!

I have loved you. All of you. I have cherished each and every painstaking, beautiful, precious, awkward, sexy, stupid, exciting, failing, brilliant, brave, disgusting, terrifying, elegant, genius, precious, and perfect moments that you have been willing to share with me and with each other. And with yourselves. 

It is now  time for me to move on. I take all of you with me. I hold you in my heart and soul like a precious diamond. 

These next 3 months will be business as usual. Levy will remain steadfast in his loyalty with me and with the STUDIO. 
We will work like we always do. 
We will suit up and show up and tell the truth, like always.
We will live truthfully under imaginary circumstances and share what we have with each other. 
We will be of service and continue to ask "how can I help?"

If you are interested in signing up for the showcase, please know that there will be limited space so I recommend you do so sooner rather than later!
THE ACT NOW INDUSTRY SHOWCASE class will be a 5 week class in August.
We will follow this up with a calendar/schedule through September.

I love you all so much and thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have changed my life. I am eternally grateful for what you have given me. I honor and cherish you.
