We had a great time with our youngest sailors to date. Wee Augie and Clancy were a lot of fun and ready for adventures of every kind - including banana slugs, sailing with the captain, peering in the hatches, and enjoying the spacious berths aboard the BOB.

We have been trying to get a good photo of the 9078 foot tall Devil's Thumb near Petersburg for years. Finally, we had a spectacular day and view as we sailed down Frederick Sound. If we were shameless, we'd photo-shop in a breaching whale. Maybe next month...

We were incredibly lucky to be invited ashore to tour the historic 1902-built Five-Finger Lighthouse (the first one built in Alaska). Thank you to the lighthouse keepers for the radio call. We loved it and hope to make it a regular feature on our Petersburg and "Round Admiralty Island" trips in the future.
