Time to Jump Up
So, I’m told that this Sunday is “Jump Up” Sunday, which means that all our kids are getting promoted to their new classes! When I was little I always loved this Sunday for several reasons. First, everybody got to move up regardless of how well they’d done in the previous class, so unlike actual school, I didn’t have to worry about whether or not I was gonna flunk. Second, it was always exciting to move into the class of the older kids I’d looked up to. They always seemed like they were doing MUCH cooler stuff than I was doing in my little kid class. Third, it was always nice to start fresh with a new teacher who hadn’t been subjected to my habitual naughtiness, and didn’t seem like she wanted to cry when my parents dropped me off. Plus there was typically some kind of “welcome” snack, which is always a win for the husky kid.
All that to say, this is an exciting Sunday for our kids, our teachers and leaders, and all of us who have children and grandchildren involved in our family ministry. Please be praying during this transitional time that God would continue to use this vital ministry to draw young people to Himself through evangelism and discipleship. I am SO thankful for...

Where Did the Old NIV Bibles Go?
Nothing escapes the lordship and mighty work of God among His people. This last week we transitioned from the paperback NIV Bibles to the new ESV hardbound Bibles in the Worship Center. Little did we know how God had already set in motion how the Indian Reservation ministry would be supplied with their highest expressed need—copies of the Bible. On May 9, Operation 29:11, in collaboration with its partners Giving Children Hope and Wings of Faith, conducted its largest distribution of humanitarian relief supplies in its 10-year history at Holbrook, AZ. As a partnership we serve churches, Christian schools, nonprofits and individuals representing Native American communities in Arizona, California and New Mexico. In Arizona and New Mexico we serve the Navajo, Hopi, Fort Apache and San Carlos Apache Reservations and their adjacent communities . . .

It's Time To Jump Up!
This Sunday, June 4, kids and youth will "jump up" to the next grade level. For toddlers–6th grade, check your email for more detailed instructions and new classroom assignments. We are excited to "jump up" together!

Grandparent Prayer Night
Thursday, June 8, 7:00–8:30pm, NC180
The Grandparenting ministry of EvFree has planned an “Age-less Ties” get-together to pray for our grandchildren, as well as their parents and grandparents—us! Join us and bring your prayers and hurts as we seek the LORD’s mind, heart and face together. Pastor John Coulombe along with the ‘Grands Matter’ team will be leading the evening of prayer.
