There is a transition period of a year, ending on 25/05/2018.
Manufacturers of packaged foods should identify if any ingredients contain lupins and amend their allergen warnings accordingly.
Correct Food Systems has a information page on Lupin and its addition as a allergen that must be declared if present in foods, from May 2018.

Cold Chain Guidelines 2017
The Australian Food & Grocery Council (AFGC) has updated the Cold Chain Guidelines.
The Cold Chain Guidelines are intended  as guidance material to support the safety and quality of chilled & frozen food products as they are handled, transported and stored, retailed and displayed in their journey from producer to consumer.
If you manufacture, transport, receive, store and display chilled and frozen foods this is a industry resource for you and useful for validation of critical limits.
The latest guidelines are available from the AFGC.

Hemp seeds as food
Proposal P1042   was approved in early May paving the way for low hemp seed to be used as foods.

Low THC seeds can be a good source of protein and omega 3 fatty acid.
Low THC Hemp can be used as a form of flour, oil and protein powder.
