AI will outperform humans at any possible task within 45 years There is a 50 percent chance that artificial intelligence will be capable of besting humans in every field within 45 years, according to 352 AI experts. The result emerges from a survey carried out jointly by the University of Oxford and Yale University among leading researchers.
AI can help us make sheep suffer less Scientists at Cambridge created a way to detect sheep’s suffering using AI. The researchers built a machine learning algorithm based on the Sheep Pain Facial Expression Scale— a tool gauging a sheep’s pain depending on its facial movements. Apple to launch new chip to handle AI processes Apple is looking to embed a home-brewed processor, dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, in its handsets. Google Sheets adds new DataViz function Google’s spreadsheet programme Sheets launched a new feature that will automatically convert data into charts and data visualisations. Users will be able to ask Sheets to create a graph or table, through natural language questions. READ MORE
