PREZ'S PIECE
Well we are now well into the season.
We are seeing some great results across our youth teams and numbers for all our youth teams are very strong. We have in the last week, surpassed our record numbers from last year to go to new heights.
Last season we registered 356 players across our modified and youth teams and nominated 16 teams. As of today we now have 363 registrations and have 17 teams running around every weekend.
A fantastic result for the club and great reflection on all the hard work done not only by the committee but the coaches, managers, parents and the kids in getting so many players back to the club. We also welcome 45 new members joining us from other clubs.
With other clubs unfortunately experiencing huge reductions in numbers across all districts we can be very proud of our club and be confident in knowing our members have a fantastic pathway and future at the Tigers.
We are also experiencing fantastic results with terrific numbers of Kalamunda players involved in Swan Districts development teams as well as representation in the Swans Colts Line ups, and as mentioned in previous Tigers Tales 2 of our players selected to represent at state level. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for more on our State representative players and what the club will be doing to support them as they go on what should be a fantastic journey and experience for them both.
