We all have creativity, we are all great a something....many things and hopefully we have found some of those things. I often have people comment to me...how they are not artistically talented at all...and that might very well be the case, however what they do well, they do it very well...Creativity can find its way into many things, like water seeping into a crack...

Creativity is often stifled in us, as the importance to make money, or have a great job always seems to hold more value...for me, being a creative is a great job, there is a freedom that comes with producing art...while at the same time there is an enormous responsibility to continually produce...even when that voice inside is saying, "C'mon Robert, lets take a drive, maybe go camping in Utah for a few days"...

Some are born with it, (love the tiger striped PJ's)  while others groom it, ( he graduated from Yale Art School ) and you know...it doesn't matter how it happens as long as it happens...Right?!

So there is some new unusual jewelry in my store, you might want to take a look at. Here are a few samples:

 

  

I started making some very cool buttons for you fabric creatives...

And last but not least, its summer right?, so I'm having an itch to paint small paintings on paper. Painting is a practice exactly like cooking, or ballet, or writing, or wrenching a motorbike, the more you do it the better you become.

The beauty of small paintings is they offer a level of intimacy, a brief snapshot of something beautiful not to mention.....you can carry them around in your top pocket like a harmonica and look at them all day....

           

          

I'll be bringing these, (4"x4") along with some pen and ink drawings to the markets staring this week. 

So today, this week, this month,  I challenge you to express yourself in any way you find artistic and creative...(as long as its not robbing convenience stores or elaborate Ponzi schemes)...build something completely nonfunctional, cook a meal you've never cooked before using no recipe, write a short story, just make, just create, just do.
