Our next meeting is coming up, next weeks on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the Palm Beach County Vista Center at 10:00 a.m.
Our presentation this month is Rick Householder and Ken Chen, SFMWD Geospatial.The presentation will focus on several proof of concept UAV projects at the SFWMD to determine the usefulness and effectiveness of using a UAV to create high-resolution products for environmental and hydrologic analysis.
Also as a reminder, for those who want to gain access to the Esri Technical Workshops 2016, please send an email to info@gisforum.org instructing us what email you would like to use for that purpose. We got positive feedback from few and worked some of the kinks with the process.

IT Subcommittee Meeting
There will be no IT Subcommittee meeting this month. The meeting in August will be a little different as we would like to rebrand and reorg the subcommittee to the Technology Focus Group. In an effort to maximize everyone’s time and talent the meetings will now focus on a single topic per meeting. All County, City and organization GIS Managers are invited to participate in the focus group and the meetings will continue to be held immediately after the Forum Member Meeting.

The Palm Beach Countywide GIS Forum is a non-profit organization that provides a medium for the exchange and dissemination of ideas regarding technical GIS issues. The Forum meets on a bi-monthly basis and hosts presentations from various private and public organizations.
