We celebrated success in many forms at our Awards Day 2017 on May 25. Our seats were filled with students, families and community members who were excited about the competitive advantage their students have gained from being a part of the 916 Career & Tech programs. Our students earned thousands of college credits, numerous industry certifications, scholarships (over $28,000 from our 916 Foundation alone) and other notable achievements. 

Thanks to the 916 Education Foundation, more than 40 scholarships were given out to 916 Career & Tech Center students totaling over $28,000! These are scholarships available ONLY to 916 Career & Tech students. Congratulations!

Woodbury Police and Fire teamed with our EMT, Law Enforcement and Automotive students to use the Jaws-of-Life to practice automotive rescue and scene management as well as experience the power of an airbag. And just the week before they were rappelling from a four story building in White Bear Lake.

Our Dental Occupations students attended the Minnesota Dental Association Star of the North convention April 28, 2017. They networked with professionals in the dental field, enjoyed seminars and exhibits in the dental industry and learned more about the products and technology in the field.
