The Ohio State University
June 15, 2017
Mike Hofherr

Although in many ways it feels as if summer has just begun, our team is already deep into planned summer service enhancements. We’ve launched AirWatch, a new tool which replaces Good, to help keep your mobile device secure. Our learning environment experts are working on updates from paint and carpet to digital upgrades and new security features in classrooms. In addition, our ALX grant application window is open and you can now relive Innovate 2017 through sessions posted online.

Protect Mobile Data

It's Time to Boost Your Mobile Device Security by enrolling in AirWatch

AirWatch is Enterprise Security’s new enterprise mobility management solution. This replaces Good, the service used perviously. It allows you to choose to receive university email and your personal email separately or in one mailbox, while also protecting it with more robust security. Ready to get started? We have published enrollment instructions in our Knowledge Base to help you sign up. Questions can also be directed to your business unit's IT department or the IT Service Desk by calling 614-688-HELP (4357) or submitting an online request (login to access this link)

Relive Innovate 2017

Session Recordings Now Available

You can now relive all of the inspiration at our Innovate 2017 conference. Whether you had to make a tough choice between two breakout sessions or you had a conflict for the day of our event, you can catch up on our keynote and every breakout session by watching our session recordings.

Contemporary Classrooms

Modern Learning Environments

Well-equipped learning environments are designed to give faculty endless options for presenting class content and to give our students the best educational experience possible. With new technology developments hitting the market every year, the ODEE’s Classroom Support team maintains an aggressive schedule of classroom updates, and we have plenty of changes on tap for this summer.

Developing Strong IT Leaders

Congrats to our leadership grads!

Another group of IT leaders graduated from the MOR IT Leadership Program this month. The program is designed to “build leaders that combine feedback, individual development goals, one-on-one coaching, workshop instruction, and applied learning.” Our IT leaders who have completed the program have seen lasting benefits that have helped them to improve the way we work with the university community to identify and deliver support and services. Congratulations to our newest MOR graduates!
