Lost Gamble
British Prime Minister Theresa May has lost her political "gamble" yesterday as her Conservative Party, also known as the Tories, lost seats in Parliament. Her main liberal rival, Jeremy Corbyn and his Labour Party, on the other hand, gained more than 30 seats, resulting in the Tories losing their majority rule in Parliament. This has created a "Hung Parliament," meaning that there is no one ruling party holding the majority. Another important result of the election is that of the 650 Parliament seats, more than 200 of them are filled by women, a first in British history.
