New Aquatic Education Instructors
This term we will have a couple of new faces on poolside, Holly will be teaching some lessons and Ashleigh will be co-teaching. You may recognise their faces as they were lifeguards.
Criteria Update
As part of Horowhenua District Council journey from good to great, Aquatics Horowhenua Streamline Swim School has updated it's assessment criteria. This exciting new change will give all students a more effective and efficient learning experience. At the end of this term you will all receive fantastic new reports and certificates to match our newly re-branded look.
Correct swimwear
As stated on the Confirmation Letter it is required for all swimmers to wear tight fitting togs and goggles. These are essential for learning how to swim efficiently. Rash tops are not recommended.
If you have long hair it must be tied up and swim caps are encouraged.
Payments
Please check your confirmation letter for full payment details and lesson information.
Pool Alone Policy
Please Note that Aquatics Horowhenua has a Pool Alone Policy, that all under 8's are required to be actively supervised in the facility by their parent or caregiver until they are in the care of our instructors. This means supervised both before the lesson starts and after the lesson finishes. This includes entering the building and changing rooms.
Ten Week Terms 2018
Starting in term 1 - 2018, all Streamline Swim School courses will run for 10 weeks or concurrent with the school terms.
