Saturday, June 17

in Raleigh

TRS is pleased to invite everyone to our June Saturday play meeting. Several members mentioned in past surveys that they could not attend on Sundays or would like a Saturday date, so we are meeting on Saturday, June 17. The meeting will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian in Raleigh at 2:30 p.m. Please bring your anthologies. We will be doing a blitz read-through of as many of the pieces in our current anthology as we can fit in the allotted time! (fun!)

Also at this meeting we will hold a brief members' meeting. Please think about any questions or comments you may have. If you cannot attend the meeting and would like to pose a question, please send any comment or question to janjenkins826@gmail.com

FREE MUSIC Available~ Bring a bag to the June meeting:

Phill and Elise Stiles are moving, and Phill would like to pass along his vast collection of recorder music to TRS members. Phill was on the ARS board and led a TRS chapter for many years. He has a great assortment of music to pass along.   From Phill:

"I will have several boxes of recorder music, parts from one to eight, for FREE! I will have four big boxes available with four smaller collections in each box and labelled as to parts.  Most of the music is sorted by composers in the parts container.

These will be available at the TRS meeting on the 17th at St. Giles.

Unless there is another way to donate them, at that point I will recycle them as paper.  So please take all you want for your individual playing, ensembles, church groups, and future TRS recitals.  There is a huge range of music, some with lute or harpsichord accompaniment. There are books, original sheet music, and copied books.

If you have questions just let me know."

Cheers, Phill
