Step 1: Sign Up!
Have you signed up for Daylight Hour yet? By filling out this simple form, you are committing to turning off the lights in your office's daylit spaces for just one hour on Friday, June 16. It is an easy way to save energy & money while engaging your office in a fun, community-building campaign.

Step 2: Educate 
Daylight Hour is most successful when you educate your colleagues about the campaign. Common-area flyers, internal mailers, and announcements are just some of the communication strategies employed by past Daylight Hour participants. Read our Daylight Hour case studies for more ideas! 

Step 3: Flip the Switch
Most importantly, don't forget to TURN OFF THE LIGHTS in daylit spaces on Friday, June 16 from noon to 1pm! 

Step 4: Post
Share your involvement on social media with #daylighthour and tag us in your pictures on Facebook and Instagram! Remember, you'll have to use our hashtag to be eligible to for our highly coveted awards. Silly pictures, videos, and memes are encouraged. (Spoiler: follow us @BEExNY so you don't miss our epic BE-Ex Daylight Hour music video!)
