About selling pickaxes during a gold rush...

On the path of CoWorking.Coffee to conquer the world, we've been busy applying to [countless] incubation and acceleration programs, some with success. Our goal? To help finding a sustainable and fair business model and grow the community with remote startup people.

In early May 2017, we were on stage to pitch for a major incubator in Lisbon, Portugal, and then enrolled in an intensive training week to pitch again to partner with some of Lisbon's city major actors. The idea we had in mind was to make Lisbon the city of coworking.
The program was free and when something is free, you are the product. We didn't get any prize in the end, only the experience and the local fame. But people were very nice. Behind the marketing and shiny gold rush for startups, there are simple people with good ideas, brilliant minds and rich stories who are there to kick ass.

So go out there, meet people, because your are [probably] awesome too!

7% Off at the Wolfhouse, coliving in the Canary

The deal quest is on!

We met Martin, from the Wolfhouse in Tenerife and got a pretty sweet deal for you. Go there from CoWorking.Coffee and get 7% discount and unlimited free coffee during your stay.
Wolfhouse is the first Coliving and Coworking house on the Canary Islands. They are focusing on startups and individuals and offering team retreats as well as coliving and coworking stays for individuals.
You can find more information about the deal on the deal page on CoWorking.Coffee

I'm always fascinated about the way people start building gorgeous places, so here for you is how Martin did it:

I have decided to combine my background in marketing, startups and organising events together with passion for remote work and freelancing.
The idea of Wolfhouse originated in late 2015. Throughout 2016 I was working on developing the idea on the side, while working in London for an international agency. After the summer I decided to drop my position in the agency, move to Tenerife and fully focus on the Wolfhouse.
On 18th of February we successfully opened our doors.
Since then we have served over 50 people, including 2 teams.
When I saw in the office we have built the first team working together face to face it was a great feeling of accomplishment.

Coworking, the animated series!

About this guy next to you in the coffee shop...

Did you ever wonder what's this weird guy working on next to you in a coworking space or coffee shop?
Meet Brian.
Brian was laid off by his employer and joined the new fancy company around the corner: the coffee shop. The pitch of this short indie animated story is hilarious and they are releasing episodes once in a while.

His adventures can be found on: http://www.disruptedliving.com/
The coffee shop Brian is working at exists for real in Redwood, CA, and can be found on CoWorking.Coffee here.

If like Brian you feel like sharing your funky projects, please do, we'll broadcast to the community!
