GLOBAL YOUTH DAY 2018

Global Youth Day 2018 (GYD18) focus is Food & Water Drive. GYD18 will be held on March 17, 2018. GYD will launch Youth Week of Prayer (YWOP18) March 18th through March 23rd. Ending with Home Coming Sabbath on March 24, 2018.

MISSION CALEB

More than 7,000 young people gathered in Trujillo, Peru for the official opening of Mission Caleb. Mission Caleb began in Brazil. Mission Caleb is a voluntary program, social services and testimony, which invites young people to devote their time to evangelism and the help of others. The Aeolians of Oakwood University are the 2017 World Choir competition winners of the 7th World Choir Games, in Wales.

"Student singers from the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Oakwood University, located in Huntsville, Alabama, took home three awards from the world’s largest choir competition last week.

At the 7th World Choir Games, the Oakwood Aeolians won the Championship Trophy in the “Spiritual” category, beating 15 other choirs for the honor.

The 42-member Aeolians also won one of several gold medals in two other categories: “Music of Religions” and “Musica Contemporanea.” ⏤Adventist News Network
