We decided this month we’re all about the groom.

Polka Dot Groom is one of our favourite specialty blogs to write for around these parts - it’s a different take away from the dresses and the white, into issues and style that are different to what we see so often in our day to day.

We’re big believers in getting rid of the notion that it’s “oh so sweet” that a groom helps with the wedding. Instead, through our own personal experiences and discussions, we know very well that the grooms in our lives are taking control of their big days in partnership with their brides (or together as two grooms as the case may be).

We know that grooms care just as much about the food as they do about the cars - in fact they may not even care about the cars! We know they have definite ideas about what they love and hate, what they have dreamt of for their own wedding days and what they wish for.

And I say “they” as if this is a groom free zone - it’s not. We know you’re reading.

So with Polka Dot Groom, we're all about giving a voice to some of the things that may be pushed under the counter.

But we need help. We need grooms to share their struggles and issues, to share their own perspectives.
