Upcoming Education Institute webinar on newspaper digitization

Our own Jess Posgate will be teaching a webinar with the Partnership Education Institute on June 20th at 1pm:

"Join us to learn about the nuts and bolts of getting started and what to expect when you're working with newspapers. We'll also talk about sustainable approaches to strategically increasing use of your local history and community collections."

It's $45 for members and $55 for non-members, and counts towards the EI continuing education certificate.

If you can't make it, be sure to check out the webinar recordings on our YouTube channel and the VITA Help site!

We've also created a handy infographic for you to refer to when you're getting started or want to know where to look for more resources.

Recent additions to VITA: London Public Library has added 10,000 new local index cards, including 5,000 buildings, places, and landmarks!
