Would you like to obtain
a VHF Radio
Operator's Certificate?
To operate a Marine Radio, it is required by law to have the Restricted Operator Certificate (Maritime). We are considering offering a clinic to obtain certification at the club, with our own Meagan Woodman providing instruction, and testing. There will be a cost, to be determined, but in order to plan, we'd like to gauge interest. If you would be interested in taking the course, to obtain your VHF operators license, please let us know, at your earliest convenience, by email: commodore@slsc.ca

Registration
.It is important to register in advance for all SLSC programs!
We have moved entirely to an on-line registration process
Online pre-registration simplifies the registration process for you, administration for us, and provides you the convenience of online credit card payment. More importantly though, we encourage you to register well in advance to avoid the disappointment of not getting a spot, as our programs have limited enrollment!

Volunteers: Instructor Dinners
We expect to continue the tradition of having the community host instructor dinners over the course of the season, especially for our instructors new to Sturgeon Point.
