Harvest 2017 is right around the corner and ETS Labs is excited to share their insights to help you get the most out of this upcoming vintage. Join ETS Labs for a two-part seminar: 

Rich DeScenzo will focus this year on using Juice Panel data and Mid-fermentation analysis to target specific ethanol and TA/pH levels in red wines as well as YAN requirements.

  • Components of the Juice Panel relevant to ethanol and TA/pH prediction
  • Nitrogen requirements and concerns
  • Changes occurring during cold soak
  • Changes occurring during fermentation
  • When to make adjustments
  • Predictive Software for TA/pH

Dr. Steve Price will cover a wide range of topics to help you jump start your Harvest planning, including:

  • How to set up vineyard and winery experiments
  • Grape sampling for juice, phenolics and more
  • “To bleed or not to bleed”
  • Best practices for monitoring fermentations
