Ninth Annual Diversity Symposium
The Ninth Annual Diversity Symposium theme is “Building Inclusive Communities.” This event features a variety of lectures, panels, and workshops that will explore the impact and implications of race and class on individual success and community engagement in higher education institutions.
The morning sessions will include an opening keynote from John Quiñones, author, broadcast journalist, and host and creator of What Would You Do?, and workshops on courageous conversations about race, class, and bias. The Diversity Symposium Awards Luncheon will include Diversity Champion Awards and Faces of Inclusive Excellence presentations followed by an artistic performance that addresses issues of race in contemporary society.
