Space Raiders is LIVE!

Last Thursday we launched our new game for Super Street Arcade, Space Raiders. It’s been created by local game developer, Brent Silby (of Def Logic) and is an ode to Space Invaders, the 80s arcade game classic. Space Raiders features icons of Christchurch that are under attack, threatened by an alien invasion. We hope you like it!
Play at Super Street Arcade, corner High and Tuam Street, 24/7.

Our Web Fair is open for bidding!
- bid on neat stuff and support Gap Filler

We are excited to be one of a number of charities selected to trial a new fundraising platform for non-profits called Web Fair. What’s Web Fair? It’s like a white elephant stall meets auction, enabled by an online platform. If you can use Trade Me, you can use Web Fair.

A number of people have uploaded items to Web Fair that they have gifted to Gap Filler and these are now available for bidding upon. Whatever the items are sold for goes to us (less $1)! There are books, furniture, preserves, kids toys and more. Have a look - there’s some great stuff. There are also Hero Items which are very special indeed, things such as:

Restaurant Vouchers - Roots dinner for 2 (value $210) and Gatherings dinner for 2 (value $120)
Cake! Cakes by Anna $100 voucher and Baker and Maker - 8 piece cake voucher
Tickets to Sister Act at the Isaac Theatre Royal
Amazing large salad/fruit bowl by Canterbury potter, Gael Abraham
Rekindle bangle and necklace (more than $100 value)
Breadventure by REAL Bread Kitchen - amazing bread delivered to your home for one month
A Llama lawn trim (llamas come to your house to ‘mow’ lawn and interact with your kids!)

Event, exhibition and maker space use at the Exchange (XCHC) on Wilsons Road
Plus some epic Mystery Bags that contain heaps of wee goodies from the likes of Sun Dog Diner, Ethique, Bennetto Whole Foods Co., Freerange Press and so many more!

You have until July 2nd to bid. To bid, you need to register which takes 2 minutes.

What's coming up?

OPEN CITY is so close!

Almost there… Our Open City project is really close to being live. It’s a collaboration with the All Right? campaign and we’re excited to share it with you, so watch this space!
This project doesn’t use a vacant site, nor a building, so it’s yet another example of how Gap Filler has been adapting and changing the way we work as the city evolves and changes.
