Reminder: Crane Going Up at 150 M This Weekend

The tower crane for 150 M St. NE will be put in place this coming weekend, from Saturday, June 24, at 5:00 am through Sunday, June 25, at 10:00 pm. In accordance with the District Department of Transportation–approved traffic control plan, through traffic will be closed on M Street between 1st Street NE and Delaware Avenue NE. All DDOT-required traffic and pedestrian control measures will be installed as required. During this time, a mobile crane will be set up in the roadway and require two lanes due to the length of its outriggers. The tower crane sections will be delivered by flatbed tractor trailers and assembled over the course of the day Saturday and Sunday.
