As we prepare for a pastoral transition at The Vine, please help us by signing up for a volunteer spot in the upcoming weeks. Visit http://tiny.cc/vinesignup to volunteer to read scripture, serve communion, teach a Vine Kids lesson, greet, or collect the offering. This is a Google Spreadsheet where you can simply type your name in for a volunteer position.
If slots are already filled, please list yourself as an alternate in case a volunteer is unable to serve. You will be emailed a reminder the week before your scheduled Sunday. 
Our goal is to have at least all of July and August filled as we welcome Pastor Jim Morgan into pastoral leadership here at CUMC!

Summer Preschool Playdates
CUMC Children's ministry is excited to host preschool playdates through the summer! Come join other families for some light refreshments and playing on the playground here at CUMC. All families with preschool aged children are welcome to attend! Join us from 9:30-11:00am on July 15 and August 12.

Weekly Small Groups - Guys and Girls

Dude Breakfast - Tuesdays from 5:25-6:25pm at Waffle House of Clemson

All rising 6th-12th grade guys are invited to Dude Breakfast on Tuesdays at Waffle House from 5:25-6:25pm (because who says you can't eat breakfast at 6pm?). Guys' small group will meet weekly at this same time and place, so bring money for food and stories of your week to share!

Gal Team & Ice Cream - Tuesdays from 5:25-6:25pm at Spill the Beans of Clemson

All rising 6th-12th grade girls are welcome to join us for our girls' small group! We will meet at the Wesley Building in downtown Clemson at 5:25pm and walk just a few steps away to Spill the Beans for some sweet treats and sweeter conversation! Bring money for ice cream and stories to share. (If you need directions to the Wesley Building, use the link above. If you get lost, call Catherine Self at (864) 760-8416.)

Wild Wednesday This Week - Meet at Peppino's at 6:30pm

Back in all of its glory, we will hold Wild Wednesday this Wednesday, June 21, at Peppino's at 6:30pm. Kids should bring $5 for endless pizza and fountain drinks. After dinner, we will head over to Bowman field for games and wrap up with a prayer at 8:30pm. All are welcome, so bring friends!

The church office will close at 1:00pm on Fridays during June and July and will be closed on 'Tuesday, July 4th.

Clemson Community Care will be facing an increased demand for food over the next couple of months. During the summer, our clients' children are out of school and will be eating breakfast and lunch at home. We will need more food items that children enjoy eating such as peanut butter, jelly, canned pasta and cereal. We also have a shortage of powdered milk and flour. 
Thank you for your continued support because our local community depends on us for assistance with food and utilities.
