Get Ready For Our First Box!

Week one of the Summer 2017 CSA has officially begun! All subscribers will be receiving their first box this Wednesday, June 21. We are so excited about what's inside and can't wait to share it with you!

A few notes for tomorrow...

It's forecast to get into the 80's tomorrow, so if you know you won't be home for the delivery (early afternoon-ish), we recommend leaving a cooler available, or dropping us a note to leave it in the garage or another cool place. We want your veggies to be at their best when you see them!

After looking at our delivery stops, we've decided that all deliveries will take place on Wednesdays for the duration of the summer. If you are ever out of town, please don't hesitate to contact us! While we can't refund you if you miss a weekly box, we can always drop it off at a friends for them to enjoy while you're away.

As you're unpacking, consuming, and enjoying your box, we'd love to see what you're doing with it! Share your pictures on Instagram with #determinationfarmscsa, and we'll respost our favorites! So What's Inside?

Half shares are receiving:

Stonehouse Bakery doughnuts.
Lettuce Mix.
Kale Mix: Green, Curly, Purple, and Asian.
Spring Garlic.
Rhubarb.
Bedding Petunias.

In addition, full shares are receiving:

Asparagus.
Extra bedding flowers.
Spinach.

We've got a lot of GREEN in our boxes this week! Spring Garlic is simply very young garlic, from allowing last year's garlic to go to seed. It works great in stir fry, or minced and put on pizza. While we love kale in our salads, we understand that not everyone does! Throw it in soup and it keeps its crunch more than spinach will, or chop it up really small and add it to shepherds pie.
